to inform you that personal data, obtained directly and exclusively from interested
parties through completion of the relevant form, are processed in compliance
with current security legislation.
1. The purpose of data treatment.

2. Modality of treatment.
The data will be processed in such a way as to guarantee confidentiality and
security and may be done using manual, IT and telematic instruments designed
to store, manage and transmit the said data. The data will be processed using
methods related strictly to the purposes set out above.
3. Communication of data.
As the supplier/vendor of services and goods made available/sold through this
website, CIC Edizioni Internazionali may be legally obliged to convey client/purchaser
data - for purposes scrupulously related to the requirements of current laws,
rulings and Community law - to accounting staff, competent authorities and
monitoring and control bodies. In order to carry out its activities, considering
its organisational structure and the services it provides, CIC Edizioni Internazionali
has recourse, in addition to its own employees (who, for the purposes set
out in Point 1 of this note, may become acquainted with personal data), to
external bodies, companies or individuals who are entrusted, by the management,
to process orders received through the website and set up contracts, to fulfil
other tasks set out in point 1 of this informative note, to check (sometimes
using statistical methods) accesses to this website, and to manage payments.
With regard to the transmission of your personal data to third parties for
these purposes, you have the faculty to withhold your consent, by clicking

of your data to the aforementioned external bodies, companies or individuals,
and to the treatment, by them, of the personal data communicated, will render
it impossible for the data holder to fulfil its contractual obligations.
4. Rights of interested parties.
Interested parties may exercise their rights under Art. 7 of Italian Legislative
Decree no. 196/2003, and may thus request to be informed of the existence,
or otherwise, of data concerning them, and that such data be communicated
in a comprehensible form. The interested party also has the right to know
the origin of the personal data, the methods used for processing them, and
the purposes for which they are processed, as well as to request their integration,
updating or cancellation. In the event of legal violations, the interested
party may request cancellation of the data, their transformation into anonymous
form, or that their processing be blocked. Furthermore, interested parties
can block the processing of their personal data for the sending of advertising
or direct sales material, for market research or for other commercial purposes
and, for legitimate reasons, the processing of his or her personal data even
when this is for the proper, stipulated purposes.
